Important notes about this release

This is a pre-release version.
Many features have not yet been finalised and some features may not work as expected.
Please provide feedback via the "Send feedback" link in the help menu.

This version expires on March 31, 2010.

Known issues in this release

Limitations

The following functions are disabled in this release:
  • Preferences
  • Check-in/check-out of assets and reels
  • Master/sub-scene selection
  • Moving screenplay text between scenes
  • Set take as mis-slated
  • Manual creation of sequence events
  • Note lists
  • Attachment lists
  • Recovering items from trash
In addition, the following limitations apply:
  • The Redline utility must be installed separately from Red's website in order to process Red metadata
  • The "Synaesthesia Data" folder must reside in the same location as the application.
  • Mac OS 10.5 and 10.6 only are supported.
  • No documentation or help files are currently available. For documentation, please refer to http://synwiki.surrealroad.com
